Music and movement for toddlers offers a delightful way to explore rhythm, body movement, and musicality while fostering parent-child bonding. In these sessions, little ones are introduced to the joy of music through simple songs, rhythmic beats, and playful props. Parents guide their children to move their bodies to the rhythm—tapping, swaying, or bouncing to the music—while encouraging coordination and motor development. Props like scarves, ribbons, and maracas allow children to engage with sound and movement in a sensory-rich environment, sparking creativity and imagination. As babies and toddlers explore different textures, sounds, and movements, they begin to develop early concepts of rhythm, spatial awareness, and body control. The presence of parents enhances the experience, providing comfort and support while creating a shared, joyful musical journey that strengthens their connection. This interactive play promotes both cognitive and physical growth in a fun, dynamic way.
Earth House is a progressive Montessori school with the fundamental resolute of providing child centric education committed to the Montessori philosophy. Our Montessori inspired Parent-Toddler (for ages 1-2) and Playgroup program (for ages 2-3) is designed to nurture the toddler’s natural passion for wonder, curiosity, exploration, independence, and discovery.
